The company Nokia Siemens Networks can buy a unit of Motorola

According to The Wall Street Journal, the company Nokia Siemens Networks is in talks with Motorola to purchase telecommunications unit of the American corporation. The deal, rumored to be between $ 1.1 billion to $ 1.3 billion, sources say a final agreement both sides can come in the next few weeks.

The press service of Motorola declined to comment about Nokia Siemens Networks interested in buying parts of the business of American company.

Recall that in February, the head of Motorola, Sanjay Jha said that in 2011 the corporation will be split into two companies. One of them will engage in the production of mobile phones, and the second, on which the alleged claim and the German-Finnish company, will focus on the creation of equipment for wireless networks and portable computers.
